Our coalitions are made up of concerned community members, working together to prevent youth substance abuse and addiction at its source. We partner with individuals from all different sectors, such as educators, businesses, law enforcement, health care providers, members of the recovery community, parents, young adults and youth. We strongly believe that there is not one person or organization who can tackle the issue of youth substance abuse alone. It takes the strengths and resources of a whole community working together to have the greatest impact.
The Piney Woods Substance Abuse Coalition works to prevent youth substance abuse in Gregg, Harrison, Marion, and Upshur Counties. If you live or work in any of these counties, we would love for you to join our efforts. For more information on how to get involved, contact Ashlei Green at 903-939-9010 or visit our Facebook page.

QUALITY CAMPUS ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION
We recognize all campuses are different, and have different needs. We work with schools to identify top needs, develop individualized prevention strategies and measure effectiveness.
INTERACTIVE CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS
We offer interactive, group based classroom presentations designed to promote positive social norms, and educate students on the dangers and consequences of underage drinking and Rx misuse.
FRESHMAN & SENIOR PARENT EDUCATION
Recognizing that most teens obtain alcohol and Rx drugs from friends and family, we offer an informative presentation that gives parents the tools and resources to prevent teen substance use at home.
